Wanna see a large four-day installation boiled down to two and a half minutes? This time elapse video was shot with two cameras mounted in the ceiling steel of a 200,000 square-foot hall at the Sands Expo in Las Vegas, and recorded on Sony CRV optical disk(!). The show kit included 3,000 lighting instruments on 1,300 feet of truss, and required a crew of 150 of the most talented individuals that Las Vegas IATSE and IBEW had to offer. Three separate venues were constructed inside the space: an Automotive Historical Museum, a Main Presentation Stage and a Dinner Theater. Too bad we haven’t figured out how do them this fast in real life….yet!
